Ok let's see - we have an image hosted on a profile that is 1 day old and asks you to visit a website with a strange url with a promise of a financial reward on an another website. How do you even imagine that would work? And now, of course, people start crying that their computers got infected with malware. Which is great - every genius who fell for this obvious phishing scam deserved it. I hope your shitty computer burns and you along with it.

Bronies go nuts, and Nintendo Sucks?Equestria Girls
The trailer to "Equestria Girls" (the humanized MLP spinoff film) finally was released today. Aaaannnd everyone's freaking out. Again.
You know, it actually looks pretty decent. Bronies... please understand: I know you're a major unexpected demographic for the show. I know you enjoy seeing shout-out's become canon within the show, and appreciate how the creators do little things here and there for you. But... the show isn't made for you. This is not Cartoon Network and the target demographic isn't 25 year olds in college. You're a nice addition to the target demographic of little girls, but you are not the driving force behind MLP.
I don't want this to sound mean, but it needs to be said. This is where it becomes very important to understand the fine line between being a fan of the show and thinking that because you've invested so much energy into the show that you're entitled to things.
I'm sure the movie won't be as bad as everyone makes it out to be. It honest

Opinions are a Dangerous thing: Art StylesThis isn't about narking on anyone no, infact this is just my own muses really! You could say this is a journal for ENCOURAGEMENT! *SHINES*
I find sticking to one style restrictive if you are a beginning/moderate artist! (even professionals I might say! though I can't speak for everyone)
Having a distinctive look on how your art is done and produced is understandable and its a desire to appear unique to the point some one can just SEE your work and instantly think 'Oh! that's Ten-days!' or something along the line. However, when you are trying to find who you are and what kind of art you are to produce, I recommend trying, well, a lot of different things! Different styles, mixing styles, different colouring techinque, brushes, tools, shading. Don't feel dependant on what you are already doing and don't feel pressured by people just for trying new things!
Push out of your comfort zone. Can't draw hands? don't avoid it! draw the heck out of them! (how else are you going to learn?)

Should I be upset?

Apparently they opted for a different type of ink that was more expensive so they switched to a single color instead of multi. Still okay to read, but more up close than far away... oh well?

So a follow up to the design I submitted a week prior for the t-shirt design that had won a contest? ---> [link]

Well I'd been out sick on Thursday and Friday when I was going to receive said shirt to see the final result since the concert was on Saturday (which I missed due to events overlapping elsewhere), but today I log on and flip through pictures just to see how it went. What do I find? My t-shirt's colors were changed to be entirely the same yellow color on black.

I really don't know how to feel about that... I mean it was a contest and I don't even think there was anything more than recognition... but I don't really appreciate my design being changed without my knowledge. Is it wrong to be upset over something like that? It's just color, but I feel like the entire design is a jumbled mess because there is no difference in the text color verse the art...

It's ok to be upset for someone changing the color of the t-shirt without your consent because they don't have the right to do that especially that is your property

I'm going to ask about it tomorrow to the person I was told to submit it to... I'm kinda hoping it was a miss communication between the printer and such, but if not I'm not really sure what I can do since the shirts were already all done and the event already happened. Mostly it's just frustrating since I don't really want to claim the design as my own now since it was not what I had done

it's really impossible to read it unless you sit there and look at it which was why the original was 2 different colors...
