My little sister is a MLP fan and since it seems to be the only thing she tolerates doing with me I've been watching it along with her. So I had made her an OC pony at one point as a gift but thought I might as well make one for myself so that I would have something to draw hers with.

Name: Winters Breath
Gender: female
Species: pegasus (the antlers are NOT attached to her head)
Cutie Mark: The cutie mark is a stylized snowflake, though it does hold a second meaning. Each point of it represents a different survival skill needed to help somepony when lost; first aid, water, fire, shelter, food, and signal.
History: This pony hails from a wild tribe of pegasus ponies that live in the far away forests in a mountainous region. They are't much different from regular pegasus ponies other than their tails, different colored hooves, and wearing horns of different animals as crowns of sorts (a tribe tradition). These horns are removable but it is very rare of one of these ponies to actually take them off, of course they retain no magic other than that of legends passed down from generations of the meaning they hold. Most ponies of this tribe leave after they receive their cutie mark, but of course it's up to them whether they decide to travel or not.

Winters Breath was a pony who decided to leave shortly after getting her cutie mark, not that she liked the thought of leaving her friends and family behind but felt there was more for her out there. The moose antlers she wears were given to her after she grew into her hooves, a gift left behind by the somepony that was to be her godmother but passed away shortly before her birth. She's always loved the snowy weather that winter brings, it's simply her favorite of all the seasons, particularly all the different snowflakes that fall. It was during the season that she found herself to be a rather excellent flyer through the flurries that it brought as well as basic survival while alone. It was her job during her time staying with the tribe of ponies to act as a rescue pony to any fillies, mares or even the occasional stallions that got lost in the maze of woods. After getting through such trials she discovered her cutie mark and decided to set off on traveling through other regions and seeing the world. So with nothing more than a cart her parents and her had built together, a special type that worked not only on the ground but was light and enchanted by a unicorn in the tribe to be pulled while flying, and meager supplies she set out to explore.

She is a kind and helpful pony once you get to know her but she can be rather shy upon first meeting. It sometimes takes her to see a similarity in a new friend and herself before she opens up. Of course when she's in a situation that requires her to act to help another her shyness tends to get forgotten, it's usually not until after she's done that she becomes shy again at her prior boldness. At times she can be rather proud and noble but she isn't foolish enough to not admit when she is wrong, though when she believes herself to be right there is no dissuading her from it.

Her favorite things include flying, story telling, running, puzzles, playing with friends, and all sorts of things involving snow. She particularly enjoys gathering clouds and making all sorts of decorative snowflakes fall from them.
